PLEASE NOTE: Due to damage incurred during Hurricane Sandy in October 2012, we lost our entire stock of product as well as our conditioning equipment. We are currently not accepting product orders, but have recently started the rebuilding process. Hopefully, we will be back up and running with limited stock by late Spring 2013. Please check back here for further updates.

The ability to read light levels is critical for the preservation of all light sensitive materials. APS's visible light meter features a convenient remote sensor and a large, easy to read, LCD screen. It measures in either foot-candles or lux. Measurement Ranges 0-20 foot-candles (0-200 lux), 0-200 foot-candles (0-2,000 lux), and 0-2000 foot-candle

Elsec 765 UV meter [ order ] |

|
This single instrument provides measurement of the four environmental parameters that are of most frequent interest to conservators and museum professionals; ultraviolet light, visible light, relative humidity, and temperature. The Elsec 765 was designed specifically for the museum community. A standard UV meter only reads the absolute amount of UV energy, but in museums, UV has traditionally been measured as the proportion of ultraviolet light to visible light. The Elsec’s ability to measure proportional UV values is useful for checking the efficiency of a particular lamp or window in terms of UV output, as the proportion of UV to visible light does not change with the distance from the light source. The Elsec 764 meter has been discontinued and has been replaced by the Elsec 765. This new model has all the same features as the 764 but with easy to read OLED display, rechargeable NiMH batteries, metal case, direct USB connection instead of infrared for data download, and larger memory.
