Art Preservation Services has been providing a custom-made high-performance silica gel to the museum community for 30 years. Recently, there has been a very large increase in the cost of this product. In response, APS will continue to offer Rhapid Gel for applications above 40% RH requiring a high-performance silica gel. As an alternative, APS will now provide Arten Gel as a lower cost option for applications requiring humidity buffering within the range of 0-45% RH.
